The Apple iPhone SE 2 is one of the most highly anticipated smartphones on the horizon, and fans have been teased about one feature it could launch with.
The Apple iPhone SE 2 is one rumored gadget that smartphone fans can’t wait to get hold off.
Despite not being officially confirmed by the Cupertino tech giant, rumors of an iPhone SE 2 are not going away.
The original iPhone SE was released back in 2016, with fans left hoping a successor would launch the following year.
But Apple chooses instead to shy away from their typical yearly update pattern, with only a new 128 GB model released the following year.
This year, however, tech leaders have claimed that a successor to the iPhone SE is coming – and it’s expected to sport an exciting design.
The iPhone SE 2 is rumored to have a glass backing to support wireless charging and an iPhone X style notched display.
It’s been claimed that Apple could launch the iPhone SE 2 at WWDC next week or, alternatively, at its typical yearly September event.
The latter is where Apple showcases its brand new flagship phones that are running the latest version of iOS.
Update: What’s New?
- This latter device, which could be the much-rumored iPhone X Plus, will allegedly have a massive 6.5inch screen.
- All three new iPhones will reportedly have a notch with the TrueDepth camera for Face ID.
- If the iPhone SE 2 launches in September alongside these three phones, then it would mean Apple has a bumper event planned for later this year.
